I didn't read anything and just biggified the picture and stared at it for a few minutes trying to figure out what it was. Closed circuit steam engine, very cool.

I love this thing! The link has a really neat explanation of how all the individual parts function if you're curious. I've run through the standard operating procedures so many times in my head I could probably get one going in real life if I were ever lucky enough to come across one.
